Syed Ejaz Gillani
Syed Ejaz Digital Library is a knowledge-driven platform dedicated to promoting literature, education, and community awareness. This platform reflects the lifelong contributions and literary journey of a distinguished writer, journalist, and educator who has been actively serving in the field of media, literature, and social development since the 1980s.
In the early years of his career, he founded the Gulistan Literary Society, Chunian (District Kasur), aiming to promote literary activities and nurture young talent. In 1983, he launched the children's magazine Gulistan as Chief Editor.
From 1987 to 2000, he served as the Editor of the monthly Sahil Rang Kasur, contributing significantly to regional journalism and literary growth.
He holds a Master's degree (MA) in Punjabi Language and Literature from Punjab University, Lahore.
Throughout his career, he has worked with leading Pakistani newspapers and magazines, including Daily Imroz, Mashriq, and Jang (Lahore) as an article writer.
In addition, he served as a correspondent for renowned English newspapers such as The News (Lahore) and The Frontier Post (Lahore).
